IncluPAS Project

The IncluPAS project is an innovation project that aims to create social inclusion in disadvantaged communities, through sports and physical activity.

The project consists of developing, implementing and testing a digital application in order to foster social inclusion. The goal is to foster interaction between different social groups and organisations and to encourage practising sports in a socially inclusive way.

The IncluPAS project was implemented and evaluated in three cities: Ghent (Belgium), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Thessaloniki (Greece). 
The project consisted of five core components and five intellectual outputs: A community scan, cross-sectoral collaborations, co-creation sessions with community champions (youngsters in our target group), an IncluPAS application (CityLegends), and process evaluations with the community organizations and community champions.

For each of the core components of the IncluPAS project an online video, report, fact sheets and guidelines are freely available through this IncluPAS Learnworlds platform. The platform will provide practical guidance to implement IncluPAS projects in other European cities.

During the lifetime of the project in Ghent, Vilnius and Thessaloniki, ‘Learnworlds’ was created. 
This learning platform accumulates and registers information, tools, workflows and findings. Resources within this digital platform such as digital reports, online videos and fact sheets, guidelines and scientific publications are intended to help your city improve social inclusion through sports and physical activity.

As a European city, you are also able to implement this project. The learning platform guides you step by step through the process, informs you about opportunities and possible throwbacks you might experience,...
You can also get in touch with the project partners and inform yourself in more detail about the development of the project in a particular country. Get your city started now! 

How to apply? Well, all you have to do is create a login and start following the Learnworlds program. It is as easy as that!
